Winchester's Wise Words 10th December 2011

Today's first writer in the book was a regular customer (and no I didn't pay her to write this!)

  • Karen, as manageress runs this shop better than clockwork. She is a credit to the charity. From a "lucky" one who "cracked" cancer, is still alive, and frequents this shop. (RJL)
  • Look after your Mum & Dad because they have always looked after you. x
  • Live, Love, Laugh x (Lorraine)
  • Give as good as you get :)
  • Everyone knows the way but few walk it.
  • Don't criticise others until you have walked in their shoes!
  • LOVE IS OUR ONLY SHELTER!
  • We are not born for ourselves alone.
  • "Smile" - it's not that hard! It can bring so much happiness in this day!
  • Keep family and friends close always.
  • The average life span in 650,000 hours...make each one count.
  • It only takes one tree to make 1000 matches. It only takes one match to burn 1000 trees.

  • Treat everyone as you wish to be treated yourself.
  • Forget the small stuff!
  • Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain!
  • It's not how long you live, it is what you do with the time.
  • Be nice to the world & it will be nice in return.
  • Don't be afraid to try new things!
